Lillian B. Teeter, 1927-2017
Lillian B. Teeter of Warsaw, Ind., was called home by her Heavenly Father at 8:30 p.m. on December 21, 2017, at her residence at the age of 90.
She was born on October 7, 1927, in Richmond, Va., to Everett Beazley and Eva (Davis) Beazley. On June 11, 1949, she was married to Pastor Gerald Wilfred Teeter. They shared 34 years of marriage together before he died on April 5, 1983.
Lillian was a resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., for the past 34 years. She was a devoted pastor’s wife for 34 years and an avid prayer warrior. She loved children and taught children’s ministries in the church for more than 50 years. Lil was a member of Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church in Winona Lake, Ind. She worked at Grace Brethren Foreign Missions, the Warsaw Community Public Library, and also Kosciusko County Head Start. She enjoyed knitting and loved to sing.
She will be lovingly remembered by her two daughters: Joy (Robert) Arenobine (Fort Wayne, Ind.); Gay (John) Trier (Warsaw, Ind.); five grandchildren: Jill (Kenny) Jennings (Auburn, Ind.); Jodi Arenobine (Huntertown, Ind.); Hollie (Daniel) Helmer (Houston, Tex.); Michael (Anna) Trier (Winona Lake, Ind.); Cindi Christine Trier (Warsaw, Ind.); and seven great-grandchildren: Allie, Drew, Lydia, Julia, Mia, Phoebe, and Luke. Also surviving is her sister: Christine Beazley Miller (Richmond, Va.). She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her sister Margaret Beazley Riddell.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2017, from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Ind. Her funeral service will follow at 7:00 p.m. and officiated by Pastor Robert Arenobine and Pastor John Teevan. Lillian will be laid to rest at Hillside Memorial Park in Akron, Ohio. Arrangements were entrusted to Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Ind.
